I obtained my BASc, MASc, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 1991,1993, and 1999, respectively. In 1999, I joined the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Ryerson University, where since 2010, I have been a full Professor. From 2006-17, I was a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Abrasive Jet Technology. From January 2018- January 2024, I served as Co-Editor in Chief of the Elsevier journal Wear.
